  Traditional and Virtual learning experiences

Introduction to Traditional Learning:-

Traditional learning is a type of learning in which students study in a group and at a special place known as a classroom. It is one of the earliest and the most efficient method of learning as seeing the teachers and their other fellow classmates in the same room as them cheers a student's mind. It is also the best way for a child to communicate more openly with his teacher.

 Introduction to Virtual Learning:-

Virtual learning is a type of learning in which the education takes place through online means. Though it is not the most efficient way of teaching at present, it might be the only way of teaching in the future. Virtual Learning makes the understanding of the concept a piece of cake for some, but taxing for others. A teacher who is well  versed in technology can teach in an online class in such a way that is no comparison for the way of teaching in the earlier method.

Comparison:-

In Favor of the Traditional Method:-

An online class is a nice way to teach intelligent students at home, but what about the weak ones? Moreover, it also sabotages the discipline of a child as no one knows what he might be doing during the class and in what posture he may be attending it. Now most of you may be saying that the solution of such a problem is simply to ask them to turn their cameras on but do you really think that everyone (especially the naughty ones) will be heeding their teacher's call? There is no way that a teacher can punish a naughty child in such classes and, as a result, the children start to visualize themselves as the king/queen of the class. Such a thing always leads to the suffering of good, disciplined children.

A traditional class is clearly better as it allows the teachers to understand a child better and a child to remain disciplined. It also prevents the eyesight of a student from getting spoilt whereas in virtual learning, their is a high risk of spoilage of a student's eyes. Hence, traditional learning method is favored by all and the bond shared between the students and teachers of a traditional class is far better than the bond shared between the students and teachers of an online class.

In Favor of Virtual Method:-

Experience of a virtual learning is like being a Prince for a naughty child. During the class, he can do whatever and forever, i.e. doing anything from the starting of the class till its end. You can eat in the class, chat with friends, play your favorite song while keeping the mike off and even ignore a teachers Call (I wouldn't suggest the last part though)! It is also like heaven for a bright child as he can use its profits in a good manner also, e.g. Searching the online dictionary in midst of the class, Understanding difficult concepts through internet, etc.

Though it is not at a very great spot at present, it might surpass even the efficiency of the traditional learning method in the future. Another advantage of learning in such a way is that there is no guarantee of what the medium platform, where the student studies, might be capable of doing. For teachers also it is something that brings them to understand the ways of the 'New Generation' and familiarizes them with the technology world. A Virtual Learning Platform develops day and night always becoming better than before.

Conclusion:-

There are many different advantages in both the methods and though there are some disadvantages also in the Virtual Method of Learning, I personally think that its efficiency and effectiveness are going to increase in the coming years. So the answer of which is better at present, according to me, is clearly the Traditional Learning Method.
